  • Château TREYTINS 2018, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 88–90
Spicy notes of underbrush, leather and fruit, with hints of game, stand out in Château Treytins 2018. Refined and pleasant on the palate, it is a fairly dense wine with a light, smooth texture. With lovely freshness and a certain complexity, it will be enjoyable to drink upon release.

    Château TREYTINS 2018, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 88–89
A fresh, easy-drinking red, with aromas of blueberry and redcurrant, accompanied by floral notes. Medium-bodied. Bright finish.

    Château TREYTINS 2018, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 87/100
The sweet notes of ripe raspberries and wild strawberries are less pronounced here than in other wines from the same vintage. Well-marked barrel notes, slightly too present for this fruity style in my opinion.

    Château TREYTINS 2016, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 14.5/20
Black fruit, round palate, very ripe black fruit, soft tannins at first, slightly grippy on the finish, precise.

    Château TREYTINS 2016, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 90–91 pts
A concentrated profile of ripe fruit, freshness and delicate minerality. The tannins bring chewiness to the finish. The ageing of this wine will refine them over time. An interesting young wine.
    James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, 24/03/2017, USA

    Château TREYTINS 2015, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 88 pts
In the 2015 Treytins, a wine made with the guidance of Michel Rolland, numerous aromas of black cherry, fruitcake and dried herbs are revealed, enhanced by a touch of minerality. With fine tannins, a rich medium-bodied character, medium acidity and real personality, this is a rare gem from this small satellite appellation of Saint-Émilion.

Deep ruby colour. Deep nose of red and black fruits, rather engaging. On the palate, a lovely attack and fine fruit quality, which also lingers for a long time. The structure is solid but remains discreet. Nicely built.

    Château TREYTINS 2014, Montagne-Saint-Émilion: 1 star
From the meeting of gravelly soils, Merlot and the two Cabernets comes this pleasant Montagne, which after long ageing in vats for eighteen months, brings out the fruit: aromas of red fruits — strawberry and raspberry — and black fruits — blackcurrant — that run throughout the tasting and combine beautifully with a fresh palate, melted and silky tannins.

Black cherry and stone notes carry through to a medium-bodied palate supported by firm, polished tannins; the finish is marked by damp earth and chocolate. Delicious now, this wine will continue to improve over the next five years.

Colour with discreet signs of evolution. Ripe nose showing lovely jammy fruit — plum and redcurrant — with fresh undergrowth notes. On the palate, a present tannic structure and ripe aromas. The finish remains fresh. Still requires patience.

Treytins 2013 is an expressive and silky wine, with nuances of kirsch, mirabelle plum, wildflowers, mint and sweet spices. The finish is particularly expressive and nuanced.

    Château TREYTINS 2009, Montagne-Saint-Émilion
This property was acquired in 1997 by Vignobles Léon Nony, well known in Lalande-de-Pomerol for their Château Garraud cru. Renovation work was carried out in the cellar, where stainless steel vats replaced the metal vats, with temperature control added as well. This 2009, with its luminous garnet colour, offers a bouquet of discreetly spicy black fruit. On the palate, firm yet elegant tannins support an inviting roundness with fruity flavours. Ideal with roast guinea fowl, ready to enjoy now.
